DESCRIPTION

Atrium Residences was developed as a feasibility and redevelopment study for a prominent site in Maitama, Abuja. Develop International was commissioned to explore the potential conversion of an incomplete office building into a luxury residential development, demonstrating how the existing structure could be transformed into a high-end residential destination tailored to the premium Maitama market.

Concept

The project was driven by a vision of adaptive reuse, transforming an underutilized commercial structure into a vibrant residential community. The design sought to maximize the site's value while delivering a lifestyle experience comparable to international luxury residential developments.Through careful planning and feasibility analysis, the proposal successfully accommodated twenty luxury apartments alongside two exclusive penthouses positioned on the uppermost residential level.

The layouts were designed to provide generous living spaces, privacy, and the amenities expected within a premium residential development. The wider development was envisioned as a complete lifestyle destination, incorporating a rooftop terrace, swimming pool, gymnasium, residents' conference facilities, staff offices, and ample parking. Together, these elements demonstrated the site's potential to become a landmark residential address within one of Abuja's most prestigious districts.
